Less can be more. I have always been fascinated by the special atmosphere of black-and-white photos, and I used to make my own prints in my darkroom. Sometimes, I experimented with sulfur and selenium toners to give my images an antique finish. Today, software replaces chemistry, and it has become very easy to turn digital images into sepia prints. The following pictures are derived from photos made during my 2005 trip.
