France Gallery 2011

The following pictures were made during a short tour through parts of northern and western France in June/Juli 2011. The camera I used this time was a Nikon D300S with a 16-85mm VR zoom lens which proved to be a superb combination, particularly at low-light conditions. During the summer season, the coastal regions of France are not exactly what you would call lonely places. As a result I frequently had to cope with people and cars in front of the objects I wanted to photograph. To solve the problem, I resorted to retouching in several cases. I hope I did a fairly decent job in this respect.
